Coir has excellent water-holding capacity and therefore is ideal around the root zone of your plants.
This is an excellent medium to use for growing various types of plants as it is very strong yet biodegradable, and is pliable enough to press into different shapes and retain a damp content. When it is moistened, a coco peat briquettes expands which provides better aeration.
